The Other Texan
The Other Texan was published by the Council of Graduate Students (COGS) in the early 1990's. They were inspired by successful graduate student strikes at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and Yale. Sick of major news media, and the student publication The Daily Texan, some students joined together to form The Other Texan. This publication intended to address issues that wouldn't receive much attention despite their significance to the specific departments and the larger university.
